So Close to My Goal Weight
I am so freaking proud of the work I have done over the past three weeks. I started working out with Jillian Michaels Slimdown Program and am now almost to my goal weight. The last time I weighed in at this amount was May 30th. That was back when I was living by myself and taking care of the house being sold while DJ was in training school in Texas. And just two weeks before that, I weighed in at just a little above my goal weight. I know I can do this. I can achieve this goal. It feels so good!
I was so tempted to just be okay at 135 or more and just not be above 140. However, that did not sit well with me. I knew I could do better. I knew my body was not where it should be. I still have room to improve. I am getting rid of the saddle bags, muffin top, and wobbly arms. I also need to improve my balance and flexibility. It will all come with time. I am first focused on the weight.
My challenge next week is to juggle all that will be on my plate with starting a new full-time job. It has been almost six months since I last worked. I am ready for this. I believe that my steps are ordered of God. He gave me a nice break. I am adjusted to living in Georgia to the point that I am now ready to go explore. I will strive to eat healthy and keep reaching goals set out for me. This is proof that if you don't give up, you can succeed. Don't make excuses! You are in the way of yourself reaching your potential. Take responsibility!
