This topic usually makes people turn their heads. It is something that people know they should do, but not always do we do what is best for us. DJ and I recently purchased an elliptical for our house. We are pleased with it. We no longer have excuses not to exercise. We can watch whatever we want on the television and workout. I can watch a television show, DVD, or listen to music or a book on CD via our laptop. Today, I began to play a video game during the second half of my workout. Time flew by. I did something new. I am excited about finding out what other games I might be interested in.

As of today, I have used the elliptical six days in a row. I feel good. I know that it takes six weeks to create a habit. That is my goal. I know that as this new year approaches, I have new opportunities. I do not know what will happen in 2006, but one thing I hope is that I will lose weight. Join with me in making 2006 a happy and healthy year. Do your body good, EXERCISE!

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. - 2 Peter 3:9 NIV
