Food
This is one thing that most people struggle with. It is not like cigarettes where we can live without it. We need food to live. Too often people live to eat. There are many people who will tell you that they know the secret about what to eat and not eat. By just looking at the dieting section at a local bookstore you are easily overwhelmed. There is no way to know that this person is an expert and that his or her way is the best.
All I know is that God created us to need food. It gives us energy. We must use self-control and discipline on a daily basis to remain at an ideal weight and stay healthy. There are a lot of things that I could say in regard to food, but time does not allow me to continue. I will share that since the beginning of 2006, I have lost two pounds. I am not only exercising consistently, but I am watching what I eat and applying the Weight Watcher's principles. I hope to continue to lose and look forward to being able to wear my size eight pants again.
