- 12 Dec 2019Spurs Cavs gameWe got mostly free tickets to a Spurs vs. Cavs game so of course, we went and it was really cool. The Cavs even won despite being bad this year.
- 6 Jul 2019TC VacationWe spent 5 days in Traverse City for the Cherry Festival. We had a huge family dinner on Monday night. Tuesday we had lunch at my mom's bagel shop and then saw Spider-Man. After that, we went downtown and had some Gibby's Fries and later on watched Gabriel Iglesias do comedy, which was pretty good. On Wednesday we, along with my sister Lori, took my dad out to lunch at Sparky's and then went to the Sleeping Bear Dunes. We followed that up with mini golf at Pirate's Cove and then dinner at Firefly. Thursday was the 4th of July and DJ had lunch with Ryan and his wife and then we went down to the midway to hang out and watch the kids ride some rides. We hung out at the beach for quite some time despite some rain until night, when it was time for fireworks, which were great. Then we had a s'more at Tracy's house before bed. Friday was our last day in town, so we packed up and left the AirBnB we were in and DJ had lunch with his mom while Kelley had lunch with Mary. DJ was done earlier, so he went to an arcade for a while. After that, we drove down to Grand Rapids to stay the night before flying home in the morning.
- 21 Jun 2019Day at Virginia BeachWe arrived at lunchtime and ate at Dough Boy's Pizza (good!) then walked along the boardwalk back to our car to get beach stuff and spent an hour or so on the beach (water too cold!). We returned stuff to the car, got some frozen yogurt, then rented a 3 wheeled, 2 seater bike and rode that around for almost an hour. Then we headed to Norfolk for dinner and some games at Pixels x Pints. A fun and exhausting day!
