Closeup on the detail surrounding the fountain - it was this way all the way around and it was big.

We went downtown shortly before the Coronavirus madness kicked off and checked out the Alamo and the Riverwalk. This is a fountain in front of the Tower of the Americas nearby. The tower was just ok, but the other stuff was pretty cool.

We are standing in front of the lake at the middle of the WWII memorial - this was a newer monument that neither of us had seen on our previous trips here.
