DJ is officially notified by his Commander that he has been selected for Senior Master Sergeant (SMSgt). This took place in front of DJ's office - a place where pictures are not often taken.

DJ won Senior Non-commissioned Officer (SNCO) of the Quarter for the 3rd quarter of 2017.

DJ's flight, Weapons & Tactics, was recognized as a superior team during an inspection - a really big deal as there was only two teams recognized as such form over 1,400 people!

The North Koreans have tried many times over the years to tunnel into South Korea. This is the third such tunnel found and has been turned into a tourist thing.
