    Schoolis in full force
Kelley and I have dived into school full-time at the University of Bellevue (probably a good reason why this is the first post in almost two months). We are finally getting into some sort of routine here in Nebraska. Kelley has a part-time job that is working out well for her and providing us a nice financial boost. I want to welcome my fellow college students who will be visiting this website (as it is now my class project). Please look around and enjoy. Suggestions for improvement are always welcome. Thank you for stopping by.

    Welcome to Nebraska
Kelley and I finally arrived in Nebraska almost two weeks ago and we are finally getting settled in. The base housing units we were offered turned out to be dumps, so we got a nice apartment instead. You can see our pool by looking at August's pic of the month. We think we have found a church and Kelley is looking for a job and will resume school in about two weeks. I have started my new job and will supervise two troops for the first time. We are loving the high speed internet and digital cable, but we cannot wait for our belongings from Iceland to arrive. Luckily, we both stored away enough items to get us by these first few weeks. Please keep us in your prayers as we adjust to this completely new situation. Buckeye's biography is now online, as well as our new video page. Please go check them out.

    Last post in Iceland
I will follow Kelley to the states in just a few days. I am very excited. Tomorrow, the movers come and then Thursday I leave Iceland for good. It has been a long two years! Our vacation is going to be lots of fun and Nebraska should be good as well. We will have our laptop with us, so expect a few sporadic updates to the website over the next month when we have the time. Also, we will have consistent access to our email, so email me or Kelley already! I want to wish the Detroit Pistons the best of luck in defending their title over the next few days.

    I am in Ohio!
I am glad to be in Ohio spending time with family and friends. I missed Buckeye. I am busy finishing up my 10th class through UOP. Now that I have survived Iceland, I must share that I have a great appreciation for the United States. GOD BLESS AMERICA! In celebration of my return to Ohio, you must view a picture of DJ in a Buckeye jersey. We made a bet and he lost so he had to wear the jersey. You can see how happy he is about it.

We are almost out of here!
Kel has less than 4 weeks and I have less than 8 until we are out of here. We are very excited! Plans are coming along nicely. In bowling news, Kelley made a 6-7-10 split in league a couple weeks ago (very hard to do), and our team is currently in fourth place entering the final week. Our team name is Bowling for Dummies and you can see the image I made for the back of our bowling shirts as the picture of the month for May. Fantasy basketball season wrapped up with Kelley narrowly edging me in the finals, 5-4. The fantasy baseball season is in full swing now, with myself and Kelley in first and second place, respectively. Check out our fantasy sports page for the full details on any of our leagues.

    I graduated 7-level school + a crazy flood story
I graduated from 7-level school on Friday, April first. Before I could, however, I had to brave a crazy flood. It rained here in Mississippi for nearly 24 hours straight. I am staying at the same hotel as several of my classmates, and we realized we would be unable to get to school at the normal time. We drove our cars to a raised area in front of the hotel and bailed the water out of them. Then we waited for the water to go down and finally we able to get to school a little before 10 (almost 4 hours late). I have never seen anything like this in person before. It was crazy. I leave to go back home on Monday and I look forward to it very much. Check out some of these flood pictures below. The silver PT Cruiser was my rental car.

    News from Mississippi
I am writing this post from my hotel room in Biloxi, Mississippi, my home for the next two weeks. I have been here just over a week and I am already wanting to get home. I would have never thought I would be so eager to get back to Iceland! I miss Kelley quite a bit. Being back in the states in just not as enjoyable without her to share it with. Our time in Iceland is getting short and we are actually getting excited to move to Nebraska.

    Lots of news and updates
Wow, where to begin? First, I will be going to Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi for my 7-level training school for four weeks from mid-March to mid-April. Kel will have to stay here in Iceland with Bonus that whole time. It is not going to be a great time for either of us, but we will make do. Kelley just received her sixth straight A in college this week for her Organizational Psychology class. Kelley and I have determined our vacation schedule - I will send out an email tonight filling in those of you most interested and impacted tonight. We have decided to buy Kelley a brand new car for when she arrives in Ohio - I will let her give you all the details in her forthcoming post. Our newly redesigned photo album is up over 700 pictures! Now you can see when new pictures have been added to each category - go check it out! Finally, we have some new pages on the site. Bonus has his own bio for you to read (Buckeye's is coming soon), and pages detailing the music we listen to and the books we have read are available.

    Where we are headed
We found out the big news very recently. We are headed for Offutt Air Force Base just outside of Omaha, Nebraska. It was not our first choice... well, it wasn't any of our choices, but we are headed there nonetheless. We will be arriving there in mid-July after visiting Ohio and Michigan for about three weeks in late June and early July. Hopefully, we will get to see many of you during that time.

    New website hosting company
If you have checked out this site over the last couple days, you likely noticed it was acting strange. This behavior is because we just switched our hosting company. Our new host is Global Internet Solutions. If you would like to have a site similar to this, I recommend checking them out. I am currently in the process of uploading all the files to our new host, and I expect that process to be done in the next day or so. This move will give us a lot more space and allow us to host some videos. I look forward to sharing this with all of you.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I hope you all had an excellent Christmas. We sure did. I got Kelley a PDA (Palm Zire 72), and she got me a bunch of University of Michigan stuff. I do not have to work for next week, so I expect to update this site more over that period. I got baptized last night; pictures are forthcoming. Good luck to Michigan in the Rose Bowl - GO BLUE!

    Good times
I am happy to share with everyone that I am ecstatic about the Buckeyes pulverizing the Wolverines November 20th. DJ and I had made a bet the night before. Now that his team lost, he has to wear my OSU jersey to bowling league one night in December. I will be sure to take pictures. I want everyone to be able to share this experience with me. It will be a sight to see. Please check back to see pictures of this family event.

    New pictures
We got back our Christmas pictures recently. Kelley and I are quite proud of them. Suffice it to say that I think these pictures are unique. You can see one of them as the picture of the month for November. The rest you can see below. Kelley is wrapping up her 4th class this week, and I am wrapping up my third. We are both on pace to get A's. In our bowling league last night we hammered the 1st place team 3-1. We were 7th out of 16 teams before last night.

    My first post
Pictures are now up on the site from my mom's trip to Iceland. She survived the wind. She has many stories to share concerning her experience. DJ, Mom and I went on the Golden Circle Tour of Iceland. It was a long day but well worth it. DJ and I hope to go on the South shore tour in the spring. We are trying to see more of the island. We now understand why people say that Iceland is so beautiful. It still does not make us want to stay here longer than we have to. We are greatly anticipating orders out of here. We know that wherever it will be, God will bless us there.

Football: THE Ohio State University Yes, I know the Buckeyes are struggling. No matter how the season unfolds two things will not change. I will ALWAYS loathe UofM and bleed Scarlet and Grey. GO BUCKS!!! Cleveland Browns: I am excited about the Browns season. Despite injuries we have a chance to do well. We might just make it to the playoffs. GO DAWGS!!!

    Early October update
Kelley's mom left a few days ago after a very nice visit. We all went on the Golden Circle Tour here in Iceland and saw a bunch of cool sights. October's pic of the month is from that tour. Pictures from that tour (and many other pictures - I am behind!) will be posted soon. I just sent in my absentee ballot to vote today - make sure you vote this November! I am fighting for your right to do so! Kelley and I started our next college classes yesterday. She is taking college algebra and I am taking a computer class. The Fantasy Baseball season just ended; I won the league tournament in a gripping final match against Kelley (9-8 so close!). Fantasy Football is in full swing and neither of us are doing very well so far, but that will change! You can read further about our Fantasy Sports exploits here.
